Identity. Emerging through our past, present, and future. My work incorporates symbolic elements into one unified composition to create a comprehensive perspective on their interconnectedness.

The past, illustrated by my younger self discovering the world, is depicted with a more blurred quality to reflect the fragmented nature of memory. The current self is painted with precision to illustrate the concreteness of the present moment. To avoid a negative connotation with the unknown of the future, my work applies moss to express growth and renewal. Merging with the background to indicate that the present future is predicated on the basis of existing experience.
