My most recent work is inspired by a style that creates a photorealistic effect using minimal brushstrokes. The photograph I took myself serves as a guide for composition and proportion. During the painting process, I deliberately deviate from a precise reproduction in order to create my own interpretation. The focus of the execution is on the interplay of light and shadow, the combination of clear and diffuse brushstrokes, and a saturated color palette that avoids the use of black for shading.
